Terms and Conditions

(Please read and discuss anything that concerns you before booking your wedding day at Wethele Manor)

1. Please be aware that, to confirm a booking, a non – refundable deposit of 50% of your venue charge is to be paid. The deposit paid secures the confirmed date. On paying this amount you are entering into a contract with us so please do ask any questions in advance of making this payment.
2. This deposit amount is non – refundable.
3. The second part or your venue charge must be settled 6 months before your wedding date. This venue charge is non-refundable.
4. We will require your final numbers, to include your daytime and evening guest numbers, one month prior to your wedding date, your guest numbers are reflected in your final invoice. Your final invoice is payable 1 month before your wedding date.
5. If payment conditions are not upheld we reserve the right to cancel the function. In such circumstances deposits are non – refundable.
6. If a booking at Wethele Manor is cancelled, any bookings that have been made on the client’s behalf eg. catering, entertainment, will be charged and settled by the client not Wethele Manor.
7. Parking is entirely at the owner’s risk.
8. The client shall pay for any loss or damage to any part of the premises, or to any fixtures, fittings and equipment, caused by the client, their guests or contracted employees.
9. Wethele Manor will not be held responsible for damage to any article brought on to the premises.
10. Check out from Wethele Manor is at 10.30am from the accommodation and venue – failure to check out by this time may incur an additional charge.
11. Wethele Manor may rescind its contract with the client if it is prevented, hindered or delayed from performing any of its obligations under the Contract by a Force Majure Event.
12. All accommodation in the house at Wethele Manor must be taken by the wedding party the night of the wedding. The bridal party will have to settle any outstanding accommodation fee.
13. The venue is hired for your wedding day.
14. The bar and music finish at 11.30pm and all carriages are for 12 mid – night.
15. The Damage deposit payment is required in advance of your wedding date – please read our terms in more detail in our pdf documentation.
16. All suppliers coming to Wethele Manor must hold the correct documentation, public liability, health and hygiene certification etc.
17. Pandemic: Due to recent world developments with regards to the worldwide spread of COVID 19 we are aware that government decision can mean that in the short and long term there may be disruption outside of our control. This may affect our ability to run events, however, in these circumstances we are able, wherever possible, to rearrange dates for you. Our priority is the health and safety of our staff and guests and will follow the current government guidelines accordingly.
18. Bar and Drinks – Under no circumstances are drinks to be brought onto the premises that have not been provided by the bride and groom or Wethele Manor. We reserve the right to remove persons from Wethele Manor or remove drinks found to have been brought in by guests.
19. Bar and Drinks – If you have booked to supply your own drinks for the daytime, if you are bringing spirits, we have a 3 single measure limit per person and do not permit bottles of spirits on the wedding breakfast tables, this limit on spirits also includes wedding favours ed-hrvatski.com. If you have an external gin bar, for example, the three measure limit per guest would still apply.  Please speak to us directly if you have any queries on this.
20. Band and DJ – Please when looking to book a band in particular, do ask them to contact us prior to making the booking. The barns have sound moderators. We have numerous bands and DJ’s playing at Wethele – please ask that your band or DJ contact us directly to make arrangements with us.
21. Food – If your guest numbers have decreased to be below 50 this might affect your quoted catering price.
